Presbytery invites new leadership

Rev. Bob McQuilkin , chair of the presbytery council, writes “We begin a new year and a new decade.  My prayer is that this will be a year of bringing revitalization to our presbytery.”

“The presbytery welcomes the leadership from our congregations. ..I will be asking each church to invite its body of inactive Elders to consider serving the Church at the presbytery level.  This will broader their own leadership and provide meaningful ’spiritual gifts’ beyond the local church…”

Friends, our Presbytery has vacancies in a number of committees:

  • Campus Ministry
  • Church Development
  • Leadership Development
  • Committee on Ministry
  • Personnel Committee
  • Preparation for Ministry
  • Presbytery Point Board
  • Committee on Representation
  • Session Records
  • Stewardship and Mission

They also seek church members who have gifts in:

  • Legal Assistance
  • Financial Development
  • Management Skills
  • Educational Skills
  • A Passion for Mission
