Join us again for the annual Lenten tradition, our Wednesday evening Soup and Scripture series.  We will meet for dinner at 5:30 pm in Edwards Hall, followed by a 6:15pm lesson and a 7:00pm closing devotional in the sanctuary.   The focus of our 2010 study is the Lord’s Prayer, a prayer that has been part of our worship, liturgy and private devotional life for generations.  As a result, the often repeated words of Jesus suffer from the abuse of familiarity.  As the prayer that Jesus taught his disciples, it is important for us to reflect upon its meaning for our modern lives.  We will explore the major themes and think as we speak the words of this prayer together.

Soup & Scripture starts Wednesday, February 24 and continues each Wednesday through March 24th.  We will not meet on Wednesday during Holy Week since we’ll be gathering for Maundy Thursday on April 1.
