“But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle,
willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits,
without a trace of partiality or hypocrisy.” (James 3:17)

Religion can be contentious, and since the earliest days the followers of Jesus have exchanged harsh and condemning words within faith communities.  Meditate today upon the instruction from the Letter of James, and how your experiences of church either demonstrate or fail to live up to these criteria.  Pray for the church, and for all believers, that we may live as those who are truly wise.
