“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55:9)

Stand comfortably with your arms at your side, then slowly raise your arms above you as you repeat the beginning of this verse from Isaiah.  Stretch as high as you can, extending your fingers and hands.  Feel your entire body reaching toward God.

Prayer: Keep me from haughtiness and pride, O Lord.
