“Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.” (Psalm 96:9)

Beauty and holiness are both qualities of the sacred.  That which is truly beautiful often inspires reverence and a sense of being in the presence of the Holy, and that which is holy is also perceived as beautiful.  People who live saintly lives often radiate a kind of beauty, even when they are not conventionally handsome or pretty.  Think of people and places that you find beautiful in this sacred way.
