“My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.”
(Ps. 121:2)

There is a saying that “We don’t believe our way into a new way of acting; we act our way into a new way of believing.”  The Psalms are filled with examples in which people experiencing despair and fear assert their trust in God’s saving help–acting as if they have already received it, long before the crisis has passed.  When we act as if God will be trustworthy, that very action can sustain us through the crisis.  How would you express the message of Psalm 121:2 in your own words?  Write a brief statement of trust.
