Love Stories, 25 Words or less
May 2, 2010 @ 2:10 pmIt was so good to see you all in worship today. What a joy it is to see our church family coming home again! And many thanks to Dan and Jamie Scripps for joining us and speaking about the challenges and opportunities in our state’s government, how we as a state discern how to Love One Another. In case you forgot, I issued a challenge to the whole congregation this week, and for all our friends who listen to Sunday sermons online. Open your eyes and ears this week to the working of Love around you. Look for an illustration of Love-in-Action: an act of friendship, sacrifice, peacemaking, reconciliation, or justice. Write it down in 25 words or less and email it to me at Shelaine@BenzieStAndrews.com, or leave it on my voicemail at 231.882.4241. I will not use your name, but I want your story to add to our Log of Love, which will give us concrete examples of how Christians seek to heed Christ’s parting words: Love One Another, Just as I Have Loved You.
God bless— hope to hear from you soon–Shelaine
