Miriam Pico & David Chown a Big Hit

Today’s Concert on the Hill, with musicians Miriam Pico and David Chown, was a huge success.  Over 150 people came to the concert, and we raised $2,606.00 for Habitat for Humanity of Benzie County.  Jeannine Chapman handed over the check to Les Poggomeyer, the president of Habitat’s Board.  This is the biggest single gift we have made so far to a local charity, and we hope to continue providing this level of support to our communities.

St. Andrews’ Concerts on the Hill are in their 7th season now, and have generated over $38,000.  Our next concert is Sunday, August 8th at 3pm, as we welcome the Leo Creek Band for some old-timey rock and roll.  This will be our first Children’s Concert and the proceeds will benefit the Animal Welfare League of Benzie County.
