Congregational Care
When you choose to be part of the congregation of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church you become part of the St. Andrews “family”. One of the joys of family membership is knowing that the members will care for and support each other during both good and bad times.
Congregational Care teams were started so that if any member needs our support, we have a way to provide that care. For example, a care team may provide a meal or two for a person who has just come home from the hospital, send a card to someone who is ill or has a special birthday or a new baby, drive someone to a doctor’s appointment, drop in for a visit to someone in need, help at a funeral luncheon or simply keep someone in prayer. Every family who is associated with St. Andrews has been placed on a Congregational Care team. Each team has two people who have volunteered to serve as team leaders. Each team is “on call” for two months each year. Being part of a team means you may be called on for help when there is a need in our congregation. You have a choice in the amount of participation you want to have in your team.
The expression of Christ’s love through the care we give to each other will continue to bless this congregation.
